National Pecan Day

One Word: YUM.

And my newest pecan obsession…

I was actually really nervous to try a new flavor, which is ridiculous since the other two flavor’s I’ve tried from them have been spectacular. And let’s just say I was far from disappointed. So I’ll stick with these babies for a while.

Especially because there is no way I think I could successful pull off making granola bars like the Pioneer Woman

National Pecan Day :)

So I decided I would do you all a favor a plan out a day of pecan filled meals since I know you’re just as obsessed as I am…

Breakfast: Sweet Potato and Pecan Cinnamon Buns with a Maple Glaze

Mid-Morning Snack: Maple Pecan Pie Smoothie

Lunch: Radish and Pecan Grain Salad

Afternoon Snack: No Bake Pecan Pie Bars

Dinner: Cranberry, Apricot Pecan Wild Rice Pilaf

Dessert: Maple Pecan Pie

And…. all of these recipes are vegan! Some are even gluten free and some are raw, but I guess you have’ll just havre to figure those out for yourself.

I seriously happy this day occurs several times a year…. now if only sweet potatoes and pecans could have a joint day. Life would be perfect!

National Pecan Day

Not to be confused with National Pecan Month. We’re gonna celebrate a little more simply.

And what could be more simple than PECAN PIE ON A STICK! Obviously, nothing and mark my words… pie on a stick is gonna be the next big thing. No more of these cake pops, it’s time to get real people and pie is the way to go. Which makes me wonder… when is national pie day? JUST KIDDING, obviouslyI knew it was March 14th, totally didn’t have to look that up or anything…
